Chaos is an exceptional comic book that delves deep into the turbulent transformations and malformations of the contemporary Arab world. Written by the acclaimed Jordanian writer Hisham Bustani and creatively illustrated by the Egyptian artist Mahmoud Hafez, Chaos is an extraordinary project in which the text was not adapted to the comics format as is usually the case; rather, the artist, in collaboration with the writer, was asked to produce his own visual interpretations of the stories.
